Assiette L - La mère abat-jour Elegant and offering designer lightingThe Mother, Marie Michielssen's first line of ceramic tableware, is an affectionate ode to the (grand )maternal figure and to women in general. The service feels slightly nostalgic, while still being innovative in many ways thanks to its vertical structure. Each shape is unique and modeled by hand. All pieces are finished with a glaze in off white or warm dark brown, almost black. As a third contrasting color, Marie opted for a powerful Venetian red.
