A superb antique jewel, it is composed of an openwork decoration of arabesques in white gold filigree which hold in the center a matte gold medal representing the haloed virgin. Ave Maria is written at the bottom. A sapphire is bezel set with millegrains, and the old medal holds a fine baroque pearl as a tassel.
