Pine Ridge Andrus Reserve - 2004 (750ml) Sake Wine Cabernet Franc and a tinyA vinous homage to the Andrus family, who founded Pine Ridge, this Bordeaux style blend has been made since 1980. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Malbec and Merlot from estate plantings in Rutherford, Oakville and the Stags Leap District, this is classic claret. Cherry cola and molasses aromas on the nose peel back to reveal an earthy, cedary sweet palate with currant, cassis and cherry flavors spiked by a bit of mocha toward the finish.
