1899 Print Japanese Deity Shokucho Kenkyo Lovers Kimono Weaver Moon XGAD8 XGU1 HerpetologyThis is an original 1899 black and white halftone print of Shokucho, a sweet and humble goddess who was forcibly parted from her husband Kenkyo because their love for each other was so strong that it made her forget to weave new stars. Once a year, magpies would form a bridge across the Milky Way to reunite the lovers for just one night. As a result, she represents the strength of separated lovers who patiently wait until they can once again find each
